The Carter Group, Inc. (CGI) is a corporation that provides a wide range of consultants, trainers and facilitators to organizations worldwide, with a focus on the United States.

CGI was established to provide single-source on-call consultation to organizations. With a number of qualified individual consultants to choose from, organizations can have difficulty finding the correct consultant for both short and long-term engagement on specific tasks. The selection process can be not only costly and inefficient, but each selection may be a gamble until the consultant is deep into the project.

CGI solves this problem. Organizations can establish one point of contact for all of their on-call organizational consulting. We accomplish this by creating long-lasting relationships with a select few consultants. Each consultant is selected for his or her expertise, industry knowledge, experience and dependability. This allows us to have a clear understanding and deep appreciation for the capabilities of each consultant and provides a good match between the consultant and client.

  1. Assessment of Organization.
    Using qualitative and quantitative measurements, our staff develops a clear understanding of your current organizational culture. In a concise report, results will be shared to provide a basis for beginning an honest and objective dialogue among employees, management and our staff.

  2. Establish goals and metrics for training and ongoing rollouts.
    Our staff will meet with key members of your organization to discuss the intended results of the initiative. Together, we identify areas of strength, weakness and vulnerability within the organization, and develop a workshop designed to improve the weaknesses by leveraging the strengths. We also help determine what constitutes succss and how to measure it. Finally, we help develop goals for future rollout events within the organization.

  3. Conduct Workshops.
    Our facilitators will implement the workshop in an engaging and fun manner while always keeping the focus of learning and skill building.

  4. Debrief and Evaluation.
    Following every workshop, our facilitators available review each particpant's evaluation of the workshop. Where possible, we augment written workshop evaluations with surveys and/or interviewing random participants fpor additional feedback.

  5. Follow-up.
    The key to any successful training or workshop relies upon the follow up and future rollout events. We commit to a partnership with each organization to keep communication open and create long-term success for each workshop we conduct. Every workshop comes with our consulting support to help keep the momentum of the initiative strong.
